 Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten's SCORE Foundation teamed with supermarket chain Albertsons to fund and renovate the learning center at a Dallas-area Boys & Girls Club.

Athletes in Action announced today that Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten will be honored with the 2013 Bart Starr Award, which recognizes one NFL player for outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community.  

Jason Witten’s SCORE Foundation and UnitedHealthcare are once again teaming up to fight childhood obesity by donating exercise equipment and sponsoring the annual Summer Backpack for Kids program for youth at Dallas and Fort Worth Boys & Girls Clubs.
